<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The role of digital technologies in medicine is getting bigger each year. However, digital skills of healthcare professionals remain a primary limiting factor in the adoption of more advanced technological solutions. This research presents survey data conducted on the Continuous Medical and Pharmaceutical Education portal, involving over 18 000 healthcare professionals. Groups were identified and analyzed based on their level of digital competencies. We found that in healthcare institutions where conditions for the development of digital competencies among medical professionals exist, the level of these competencies is higher, as reflected in their proficiency with medical information systems and the utilization of telemedicine technologies</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>цифровые компетенции</kwd><kwd>медицинское образование</kwd><kwd>искусственный интеллект</kwd><kwd>мягкие навыки</kwd><kwd>телемедицина</kwd><kwd>информационная безопасность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>digital competencies</kwd><kwd>medical education</kwd><kwd>artificial intelligence</kwd><kwd>soft skills</kwd><kwd>telemedicine</kwd><kwd>information security</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Jidkov L, Alexander M, Bark P, et al.
